Chitra Bina was established in 1994 by the renowned Tabla maestro Shri Prabir Bardhan, whose name is synonymous with rhythmic precision and classical integrity. Recognising the need for an institution that marries traditional discipline with creative freedom, Pandit Bardhan envisioned a sanctuary where the arts are not merely taught, but lived.
